Aid to the Church in Need was operating with a 10 year old website which was not mobile friendly, had outdated messaging, a cumbersome donation process and slow load times.

We needed to help them monetise seven donation streams, improve their annual donations, standardise branding UI elements and create a custom eCommerce website like no other. A great challenge for charity website design.

Our approach had to be UX and usability driven

This website wasn’t your average off the shelf ecommerce donation platform. With several donation options, a choice of frequency of donation and ability to add gifts, we had quite a complex user journey to define.
The next step was to refine the UI design system across the website to build familiarity and trust. The results of these strategies in turn would drive our design decision process to create a fresh and intuitive custom donation platform.
